Writing a wedding speech can be one of the most daunting roles you can be tasked with. Whether you’re the father of the bride, best man, bridesmaid, bride or groom, it can be nerve wracking!
I have compiled a brief list of do’s and dont’s to help keep you on the right track.
If speaking a a Wedding:
1 ) You must look at Audience Analysis. Most guests do not want to hear about Stag/Hen nights.
2 ) Prepare, prepare, prepare
3 ) If you drink alcohol – no more than one drink is recommended.
4 ) Check out the Microphone and the Wedding Hall prior to the meal.
5 ) Speak with Enthusiasm and Voice Clarity
